Hi all! Things have been busy here at RLTPress and its time to pause and update the website! So, let's see...what have I been up to?
My husband and I moved from San Jose Ca to Portland Or in July and we have been busy getting life back in order. So I and thus RLT Press have been on a convention hiatus. I've also trying to finish up the InterSections graphic novel and so I've decided to only table at one con this year. Originally this con was to be Alternative Press Expo. But with our move, I'm not able to swing that this year. But I was able to get on the waiting list for Artist Alley at Rose City Comic Con and managed to finally get a table. So if you're going to that con, look for me at table U3! I will have prints of my favorate Line is Drawn pieces as well as the original art for sale, copies of The Protector Corps and Between Here and The Lint Trap as well as original art from all my books and other projects for sale.
Also I have been doing weekly work for The Line is Drawn over at . Please check out their site and the Line's weekly blog. You can see my work for The Line under the New Work Tab. Additionally, after much discussion, Rich has decided that instead of doing an issue 4 for InterSections, we will focus on bringing all the issues together for a graphic novel. This gn will be in full color collecting issues 1-4 with some new and reworked material. This has been my main artistic focus.
What else? I've recently opened a artist page on Fiverr, for sketch cards and commissions. If you're interested in getting something original that is another avenue for getting those commissions. Or if you'd prefer, you can contact me directly through this website.
I'm also on Patreon.com. This is a great site for fans to support their favorite artists through subscription crowd funding. If you like my work and would like be supportive, please go to my page at www.patreron.com/geneguilmette. Currently I'm sharing a behind the scenes look at my process, offering first look opportunities on current projects and free downloads to help other comic artists with their inking and coloring.
We are now getting our books printed through Ka-Blam! and IndyPlanet. You can now order your copies of Protector Corps directly from them, just follow the link the PC order page and you will have your choice of hardcopy or digital download! You can also get copies of our books at Whatever... in San Francisco. If you can't get to them, you can contact them directly and they will be happy to ship books to you!
Also we have a number of new items for sale, at our new store front at Gallore.com as well as kids t-shirs, art prints and phone cases under our Prints 'n Stuff pages.

BIG WOW 2013 INTERVIEW
RLT Press was at BIG WOW 2013, in San Jose,CA and had a blast! I met some great people, saw some amazing work by very talented creators and come very cool cosplay. RLT once again shared a table withDesmond Miller of Slumberland Press and Ken Garth Hadley of Dangerous Knots and Unknown Knives. One of the highlights for me personally was being interviewed by Deon Long from The Gaming Gang.
It is official, you can now order Lint Trap here at RLT Press and at Slumberland Press!!! check out Our Publicatilons tab!
It has been a few months of crazieness here at RLT Press, I found a day job (Yeah!) and then I had to find a new apartment. So that slowed down production on the children's book and halted production on InterSections #4. But with a big smile, I'm proud to say that Lint Trap is done! It is going through a final edit and then it is off to the printer. Once we have a price for the book Des and I will be putting up a pre-order page here at RLT Press and at Slumberland Press.
It is with great pleasure that RLT Press announces that issue 2 of The Protector Corps has come back from the printers and we will have copies avaliable for Big WOW in San Jose. Following Big WOW, you can get copies from Whatever in San Francisco, online here at this website or from www.comixpress.com .
Geek'N Out Comics and RLT Press unvail cover for next InterSections issue!
Due to a major computer failure, Issue 2 of Protector Corps is delayed I'm sorry to say. The good news is that all the art work is done but there remains some coloring, lettering and editing that can't be done until I get my computer back from the repair shop. Once I get the computer back I will be working overtime to get the book finalized and sent to the printers. Once out it will be available from Whatever in San Francisco, through this website or at Comixpress.com.
The book has come back from the editors and has been sent off to the printers. We should have the book in time for Big WOW in San Jose this May!
Beyond Protectors, I have started preliminary work on a children's book.
"Between Here and the Lint Trap" is a book by Desmond Millar and myself and we hope to have the book done later this year, perhaps by APE. Also work will be starting soon on the next InterSections issue.
I will be sharing a table at Big WOW in San Jose with Desmond Miller in May and we hope to have a space at APE in October.
You can see some of the art for Lint Trap in the new Works in Progress section!
I've added a new section dedicated to new works of art and previews of upcoming comic projects. Check it out under the New Work Tab!
RLT was approched by the producers of the indie short film, Souls of Splendor to do the cover for the fictional graphic novel by the same name. To learn more about Souls, click on the image for their website!
In addition to doing the cover of the graphic novel, other works by Gene Guilmette will be used as props for the up coming film.
RLT Press, short for Road Less Traveled Press, is currently the online small press portal for freelance artist/writer Gene Guilmette. Here you can purchase his art and self plublished products as well as keep up to date on what G is doing and what con's he will be attending next.
